KATIE
DIRECTOR
QUALIFIED BOOKKEEPER /BAS AGENT
With a strong foundation in accounting, Katie advanced from studying to advanced diploma in accounting early in her career. She then applied her skills in various corporate accounting settings throughout Western Australia and Northern Territory before co-owning a successful mechanical workshop with her husband, Steve, for 12 years.
After selling the mechanical workshop, Katie and her family set off around Australia for a trip of a lifetime, showing their teenage sons the vast range of the Australian way of life.
On returning home she renewed her focus on bookkeeping, to gain her BAS registration.
Katie enjoys outdoor activities and staying active, but her true passion lies in the realm of financial statement analysis and reconciliation.

STEVE
DIRECTOR
ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT
Steve possesses extensive knowledge of small business operations, which he gained through managing multiple mechanical workshops early on in his career.
Steve then founded a successful mobile mechanical enterprise in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, during this time he completed numerous small business courses.
Moving to Northern Territory, Steve continued to work in the mechanical field through large mining operations.
Relocating to the Great Southern of Western Australia, Steve and Katie co-owned a thriving mechanical workshop for 12 years. Steve managed the workshop daily overseeing both the mechanical team and the administration team.
They sold the business and took time to travel across Australia with their family.
Steve is now providing administrative support for Work Less.
