What is BAS?

BAS stands for Business Activity Statement.

It includes information on GST (goods & services tax), PAYG (pay as you go) withholding and other tax obligations.

Businesses typically lodge their BAS either monthly, quarterly or annually, depending on their turnover and reporting requirements.
